New York Photo Walks
Cruise 8 Days 7 Nights March 31 - April 7, 2012: Panama City/Balboa, Panama to Cartagena, Colombia with Panama Canal Crossing
We have been invited to be on Sea Voyager's First Cruise via its New Owners.
Known for its adventure cruises, Sea Voyager Expeditions (SVE) has developed itineraries exploring Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Ecuador, four of the world’s richest countries in flora and fauna. This includes kayaking directly from the ship.
Sailing these itineraries will be the M/V Sea Voyager, a previous winner in Conde Nast’s 2009 Best Small Ships Awards. The Sea Voyager will take 60 passengers at a time, each stateroom providing guests air-conditioned comfort and panoramic views, while public areas include lounge, bar, fitness area, library, massage room, dining room, and deck space to get plenty of fresh air. Naturists and guides—experienced in history, culture and a wide range of plant and animal species—will accompany voyagers as they explore their daily destinations. Package prices also ensure guests won’t have to pay for any meals, pre-post hotels, shore tours, admissions to museums and parks, taxes and port fees, or transfers when the SVE Air/Sea program is used, which packages airfare into the holiday as well.
Itinerary: Panama City/Balboa | Panama Canal Transit | San Blas Islands-Pino Island, Dutch Islands (San Blas) | Capurgana | Sapzurro | Isla Fuerta | San Bernardo Archipelago | Cartagena

==========================================
Begins with one hour reception with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
From the quaint and charming city of Cartagena, we will embark on an exploration of Colombian Caribbean coastline that will ultimately take us through the awe-inspiring Panama Canal. The San Bernardo Islands National Park is known for having extensive coral reef ecosystems providing habitat for colorful and thriving communities of marine life. We visit nearby islands where we combine exploration and relaxation, as we offer opportunities for nature walks, kayaking, and snorkeling to view the flora and fauna, or just spend an afternoon enjoying an unspoiled tropical beach. Sailing into Panama, we take two days in the San Blas archipelago, known for its extraordinary beauty and biodiversity, as well as the local Kuna Yala native community. The grand finale is our transit of the Panama Canal. Crossing its locks in our small expedition vessel provides a more intimate connection to this ambitious engineering accomplishment.
Cost: $2,660 (Category 1 Stateroom) minus $500 if booked by January 31st. $250 deposit required at time of booking. View Staterooms (click here)
